Quick answer
If you want a turntable-driven setlist with pop and electronic hits, go with DJ Hero 2 on Xbox 360. If you prefer a dedicated guitar game focused on Aerosmith and don't mind disc-only, Guitar Hero Aerosmith on Wii is your pick.
Gameplay style: turntable vs guitar
DJ Hero 2 uses a turntable controller to scratch, crossfade, and hit notes on two decks. It's a different muscle memory than guitar games, mixing mashups of pop, hip-hop, and electronic tracks. Guitar Hero Aerosmith sticks to the familiar five-button guitar layout, but as a disc-only copy you'll need your own guitar controller.
Track focus and variety
DJ Hero 2 features a broad roster including 50 Cent, Lady Gaga, Daft Punk, Janet Jackson, and Flo Rida, with mashups that create new listening experiences. Guitar Hero Aerosmith is an expansion of Guitar Hero III, with about 60% of its setlist coming from Aerosmith; the rest are by artists who influenced or opened for the band.
