Learn how to use a Nintendo DSi Guitar Bag for transporting your DS Lite and Guitar Hero On Tour gear. Simple steps for a perfect fit.
Quick Answer
The Nintendo DSi Guitar Bag is designed to carry a DS Lite or DSi console along with the Guitar Hero On Tour grip accessory. Pairing simply means fitting both items securely inside the case for travel.
Why This Bag Works for DS Lite and Guitar Hero On Tour
The bag is shaped like a small guitar, matching the Guitar Hero On Tour controller grip. It has a main compartment that fits a DS Lite or DSi console and a separate slot for the game grip. This keeps both items snug and prevents scratches during transport.
While the bag is branded for the DSi, the DS Lite shares the same external dimensions, making it a compatible option. The case does not include padding for the console's screen, so consider adding a screen protector for extra care.
Steps to Pair Your Nintendo DSi Guitar Bag with Your Console
- 1. Unzip the Main Compartment: Open the main zipper of the guitar bag. This compartment is sized to fit a Nintendo DSi or DS Lite console. Checkpoint: Ensure the zipper moves smoothly. A stuck zipper could indicate a defect.
- 2. Insert the Console: Place your DS Lite or DSi console into the main compartment with the screen facing upward. The bag is not padded, so avoid forcing it in. Common mistake: Pushing the console in sideways can scratch the screen. Always insert it with the screen facing you.
- 3. Slide the Guitar Hero On Tour Grip: Locate the secondary slot or pocket inside the bag. Slide your Guitar Hero On Tour controller grip into this slot. It should fit snugly without bending the grip. Checkpoint: If the grip does not fit, verify you have the correct grip model for DS Lite/DSi.
- 4. Close and Secure the Bag: Zip the bag closed completely. Carry it by the handle or strap. The bag is designed for transport, not heavy impact protection. Common mistake: Overstuffing the bag with extra games or cables can cause the zipper to fail. Keep it to just the console and grip.
