Decide if the cartridge-only Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story for Sega Genesis fits your setup. What the 1994 release includes, condition checks, and who should skip it.
Quick answer
Buy the cartridge-only Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story for Sega Genesis if you already have a working Genesis, want a 1994 one-player fighting game, and are comfortable with a loose cart and no case or manual. Skip it if you need a complete copy or primarily play two-player fighters.
Cartridge-only means you supply the rest
This listing is for the game cartridge alone. No case, manual, or box is included, so display value and resale completeness are lower than a boxed copy. The trade-off is a lower entry price for players who just want to play.
Because the catalog does not list a specific label or shell condition, ask the seller for clear photos of the cartridge front and back before buying if cosmetic condition matters to you.
One-player focus changes the value
Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story is a single-player beat-'em-up with a large move set, not a two-player versus fighter. If your Genesis nights are built around head-to-head play, this cartridge will sit idle more often than a versus title.
For solo players who enjoy learning move lists and fighting through a roster of opponents, the cartridge-only format is a practical way to add a 1994 title without paying for packaging.
Check your setup before you check out
You need a Sega Genesis console and a controller to play this cartridge. The listing does not include either, and the catalog does not state region compatibility or save support, so confirm those details with the seller if they affect your decision.
Decision rules for this cartridge
- If you own a Genesis and want a solo fighter: Buy it. The cartridge-only format keeps the cost low for a 1994 one-player beat-'em-up with a large move set.
- If you need a complete copy: Skip this listing. Cartridge-only means no case or manual, and the catalog does not offer a complete option.
- If two-player fights are your priority: Choose a versus fighter instead. This title is built around a single-player campaign.
- If condition is critical: Request front and back photos before purchase. The catalog does not specify label or shell condition. Confirm region compatibility with the seller if you are outside the console's original market.
